Except it has absolutely nothing to do with being a "Bible-thumper". They don't have to justify it, because it's not their 'sin' that they have to answer for. Furthermore, the position of First Lady is completely irrelevant, so even if said 'sin' affected them in some way, there still wouldn't be a need to justify it. Even stretching your excuse as much as humanly possible, it makes no sense. You know, even if you want to stretch your 'reasoning' even further, a lot of the people who voted for Donald Trump were just voting AGAINST the qualification-less, Godless, corrupt second option, which is yet another thing that said 'Bible-thumpers' wouldn't have to justify because the election isn't about personal belief, but policy.
