There's really no point discussing things with you further if you're going to play these silly games so I'm going to add you to my lengthy ignore list. Good luck.
You’re a creepy stalker. You will be back. Run along now, precious.

Really? You regard 27 documented sexual assaults as.........."a small, relatively unimportant offense "
I regard 27 supposed sexal assaults - reported by "Axios" as par for the course for any male Republican who Democrats fear.

Stacey Williams is 27th woman to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct

Bill Clinton is documented to have raped a woman in the White House and telling her "better put some ice on that" when he noticed the fat lip he gave her while doing so.

Your Party idolized him.

He won re-election because he was good for the economy. People ignored the kind of accusations that always follow powerful men.

Okay, so I'll pledge to keep any criticism or any degree of attacks out of this conversation. Hopefully you will too, but we'll see how it goes.

Full Disclosure: I've been able to adjust my relationships with my Trump-voting friends and family to where we either don't discuss politics, or we just keep our political conversations at a point where we're agreeing on something. That's it. Those relationships are too important to us to risk. Period.

So I'm going to ask you guys the question I would ask them if I were willing to risk those relationships. It's at the heart of my concerns about MAGA, and I know it's a question often asked by people across the political spectrum who remain horrified about what's happening. But clearly, his base (NOT everyone who voted for him, but his BASE), clearly believe America is in serious danger and he is the one person who can fix this.

Personally, while I have several general issue agreements with MAGA (see link at bottom here), I also believe (as do many across the political spectrum) that getting what I may want politically is not worth selling my soul to anyone (and that's what I think it is), let alone a person of such deeply poor moral character and obvious mental instability. I/we also strongly disagree with this simplistic, heavy, ham-handed approach, refusal to collaborate/innovate, and obvious indications of European-style autocratic authoritarianism. That's just my personal opinion.

Please vote/comment, and no attacks are on the way in response. Thanks in advance.

Where does Mac1958 actually stand on the issues?

No, I dont think he's the only one who can steer the country to the right direction, I think there are many others who could do that, we just haven't seen them in the spotlight yet. I don't subscribe to the "one person can fix us" mindset. However, trump appears to be the only one, currently, to buck the system to try and fight against the established narrative, if he holds true to what he set out to do.

As far as his history and character, I've stated in the past that 90% of what you see about him is fabricated or stretched by left wing media. I understand nobody is perfect and I don't expect them to be, but the media swirl around trump has been mostly negative, and most of that is out of spite.

You can kinda tell because you almost never hear of anyone on the left doing anything wrong, or a part of any scandals, it's almost as if left wingers are these great people who never do anything wrong. The left are just as bad as the right, they don't have this ultra moral and superior air about them, it's just that their flaws and wrongdoings stay hidden, nobody reports on them, or the media machine will either downplay them, or memory hole them as fast as they can to move them out of the news cycle.

But trump, he has been put center stage for 9 years now, and everything he does has been magnified by the left to make sure everyone sees him, and they twist and stretch and fabricate stories about him to make sure that that magnifying glass is always showing this horrible person. The eye of mordor has been fixed on him for 9 years, and it's gaze doesn't wander.

Mac,

Trump wanted a guy who rapes kids as the top law enforcer..

Having sex with a minor is statutory rape.

So we have a guy who should be allowed within 100m of a school for the rest of his life be in Charge of the Justice System..

This is not a Gaetz problem, Trump picked him... This is the level of judgement the President of the US is going to have.

Got it, much appreciated.

Nice try, but we can't have a rational discussion with cult members. I wish we could.
Are you willing to bend at all when it comes to trump? Somehow, I don't think you are. That is also why this topic isn't doing well, and exhibits part of the problem. The left, too, will never concede on any point in regards to trump, so the topic was destined to fail from the start.

Speaking about French President Emmanuel Macron, Trump explained, "You know, he's for France. I'm for us. I'm for us. You know how you spell 'us' right? You spell it U-S!"

I clearly said "that's just my personal opinion".

Do you have any comments on the question?
What is that "personal opinion" based on, Mac? Let's be brutally honest here. Are you in opposition to Trump because his policies don't work or are you in opposition to him because you don't like him as a person?

You're basically asking others to vote for people who's policies didn't work because you're more comfortable with them as people and you're willing to overlook their poor results. At the same time you're asking others to not vote for someone who's polices DID work simply because you don't like them!

Is it even possible to have a serious discussion with a DNC agitprop agent pretending to be something he is not?

You might want to put this in the clean debate zone.
