It it is not at least 11/29 as the possible fine, it is at most a misdemeanor, Dumbass. The books say it is civil, so it is civil. Reading is fundamental. Learn to do it, for yourself.Apparently, you don't know the difference in civil fine and crimes. They are the same. You don't lock someone up for 5 months for a "violation".
Can you be deported for overstaying your visa? The answer is yes, so don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out!

Yes, but that does not define the difference between a criminal law and a civil statute. Federal code does, and getting deported is not punishment, but simply kicking the heck out.Can you be deported for overstaying your visa? Wait... I just said that, but you didn't read it apparently because you are still here!
You seem to have lost track of your argument after I shot them all full of holes? Don't you want to regroup and reconsider your decision to get hammered by the facts, where you have provided none?Yes, but that does not define the difference between a criminal law and a civil statute. You shot nothing with any holes. Overstaying H1B visa or any other visa in a civil infraction, under code and not US Criminal Code. Why don't you read, anymore. If you really were a naval Officer, you must have been able to read and understand regulations at one time or another. Remember. You are in Tennessee now. You can get no tuition classes at state colleges. It might keep your mind active, in your old age.You seem to have lost track of your argument after I shot them all full of holes? First of all, anyone coming here illegally should be immediately deported and blacklisted from ever being granted legal status, EVER. But, to expand on this OP, maybe we could put these judges in place on the border for immediate decisions. Once illegals are released into the US and given a later court date, good luck ever seeing them again.Just another way to weaken the immigration courts.
Sad.
The fact that they are criminals has nothing to do with them overstaying their visas. They are targeted for deportation because they have a criminal history. They are not being targeted by ICE simply because they overstayed their visas. Those are facts conveniently left out by the main stream media. You shot nothing with any holes. Just to point out. Congress has established requirements for Temporary Immigration Judges.
Military JAG's aren't in the Dept of Justice, nor will you probably find any with 10 years experience in the field of immigration.

8 CFR § 1003.10 - Immigration judges.

You seem a willing stooge, but the fact remains, the DOJ is dismissing charges when they get to court, after coming to court on their own, simply to avoid case being heard, and then ICE is picking up, as they set foot outside the court room, and yes, we know, you know it. In our system, if not convicted, then not a criminal. Kind of like that Garcia guy, DOJ has not been able to charge and convict, but wishes to deport, yet judges has said, must remain within 200 miles of where his hearings are going on, so cannot be deported to that African Hell Hole, the Administration is paying to accept illegal aliens being deported. They even had an offer from Costa Rica, willing to accept him, as no evidence of gang affiliation. The administration offered him a deal, allowing it, if he would sign a confession, otherwise, they want to send him to Uganda, to the torture prison in that country. Our government is completely duplicitous in it's handling of immigration issues, based on it's political desires. The fact that they are criminals has nothing to do with them overstaying their visas. They are targeted for deportation because they have a criminal history. They are not being targeted by ICE simply because they overstayed their visas.
