In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face - forever.
Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.
Poor George Orwell. You people are shitting all over him. You truly do not know what he was about. He was a liberal. He was left thinking. His message, his thought, his beliefs have no connection to the right wing, to your fascism, to religion, etc. You are trying to say he spoke for you, and he didn't. So sad.
No, we are saying that he completely described what you are and what you believe in. We are saying that you are so terrified of us that you'd support "re-education" camps and failing that death to those who dare disagree with you. He was actually describing your Left Wing Fascism and your need to eliminate dissention in all of it's forms.
But then...you knew that.
He described when? Please, tell me which of his works you have read. Tell me how you intrepret his work.
You know nothing about Orwell. You do not understand him at all. Read
Burmese Days and
Down and out in Paris and London. He was a liberal, a leftist, not conservative, not right wing, not religious. You completely misunderstand him.
In
Animal Farm, his point not socialism, that's just the vehicle he uses. His point is that power corrupts. In 1984, his message is again, not socialism, the corruptness of communist Russia is the vehicle he uses. In
Politics and the English Language, he is talking about propaganda, not about political correctness.
You don't understand him. I have doubt you have even read his work, much less studied it. And definitely you have not understood him. And, if you have any personal familiarity with those works I have just mentioned, you have only familiarity with them and none of his other work. Mostly likely you have been told what to thing, by a right wing propagandist, someone doing just the opposite of what Orwell would want to be don.
It's sad and disturbing the way you all are shitting all over his legacy. Read
Burmese Days and tell me he's right wing. Read
Down and out in Paris and London and tell me he's right wing.
