If the chart continued through to today, the spike in unemployment would be right off this chart - today's rate being in excess of 13%.

Trust is becoming a bigger problem for the president and the country. When a president lies, exaggerates, and misstates facts routinely, how are we know when to believe him? It seems likely that Trump is going have an October surprise probably about the virus, maybe the vaccine or a cure. Will anyone believe him? All presidents lie at one time or another for various reasons but there has never been a president that does so often and so convincingly. It's like the president each day ask himself, what should I tell my people today? What would sound good? What could I say that would help me?
