It's simple. What was the conservative reception to Sarah Palin in 2008? Answer: They LOVED her. She regularly drew 20,000 to her rallies, while the idiot McCain was lucky to get 1,000. She was the only reason McCain got as close as he did. Of course in typical weasel fashion, McCain blamed the loss on Sarah.

As I recall, it was the LEFT and its media who trashed Sarah because she was so popular and threatening. A large factor in his 2020 LOSS was is lack of support from women. Political actors will try and convince him that having a female VP will help with this.
