Observing the "warmest ever year" from Nashville...

LOL Yeah, global warming;

What's the coldest it has ever gotten in Seneca?
The coldest temperature in Seneca, Oregon history is -54 °F which happened on Friday, February 10, 1933.

After "150 years of 'warming'" this should not happen...

Ah well, a simple mind is incapable of thinking in anything but simple terms. A rapidly warming Arctic slows the jet stream and makes it more wobbly. So we have much colder weather reaching, on occasion, further south, and much warmer weather in the Arctic when that is happening.

Too funny. All of this from the far left leaning Rutgers from a climate-change activist. Well, here is some common sense for you Rocky, since a warming arctic means there is less tilt to the jet stream to flow north, not only would that tend to equalize things out as then the temperate zones would then be returning less warm air to the north for the arctic to warm with thus dialing it back into equilibrium, but less energy, less tilt to the jet stream would tend to DECREASE N-S amplitude!

In the idiot professor's model, taking away north polar flow by a lower-tilted jet stream DECREASES polar amplitude, not increases it, as an increase implies an INCREASE of energy put into it!

Hope those Rutgers students are filing to get their money back.

Global Warming is a hoax.

Earth climate does change.

Jurassic was warmer, wetter, and had much higher surface air pressure, what happens when Earth has little to no land near the poles and hence little to no ice.

ocean currents and jet stream/air currents do not change Earth heat content at all, they merely spread it around. Changing their directions does not alter Earth's climate at all, but it may alter local climates temporarily. When the ocean current off Cape Cod drops 10F in one year, that does not mean Earth is cooling, it just means there is a +10F going somewhere else.

We have four cycles of climate. That hasn't changed since humans have been discussing the hoax.

Climate Change in regards to a PLANET is PLANETARY. The seasons are simply a result of Earth's axis tilt.

Earth is warmest in January, when it is closest to Sun.

yep, and why we have four seasons. Climate changes, from cold to cool, to warm to hot. Happens every year since humans have been here.

And one more thing, everyday within those changes are not the same temperature every day, they vary, and as such we have been tracking data as averages.

Which month of the year is Earth, the entire planet Earth, warmest?

HINT ...

Yes, the Earth is closest to the Sun in early January, a point in its elliptical orbit called perihelion, occurring around January 3rd each year.
from your own link;

This is why the Northern Hemisphere experiences winter when we are closest, as seasons are caused by Earth's axial tilt, not distance from the Sun.

It does not state that January is the warmest month of the year?

LOL!!!

Too funny...

Now, just try to think for once. If a planet gets closer to its Sun, does it warm?

Why is SAP higher in the Northern Hemisphere when it's colder?
Why is SAP higher in the Southern Hemisphere when it's colder?

Perhaps you should let that author know that

Why is SAP higher in the Northern Hemisphere when it's colder?
Why is SAP higher in the Southern Hemisphere when it's colder?

Those are false statements. Coming from you, to be expected. Any more fudge to back those up?

A planet's surface air pressure is planetary, not local, and when planet gets closer to sun it warms and SAP rises.

Sincerely,

Mars
Pluto
Earth

and you don't have a single planet that refutes...

Perhaps it is better to THINK FOR YOURSELF than PARROT....
I did, didn't I, I showed you what you parroted wasn't what you thought it was. Thanks
