Weather happens. This year we've started off with a jagged Jet Stream that has flipped us from record high to record or near record low several times. That is unusual. But it is weather, not climate, and the presence of the record lows in a "growing urban area" with a 5+ degree "urban heat island effect" is absolute proof there is not a "warming trend" at all.

Needless to say we have had an extremely "jagged Jet Stream" relatively, as we have spiked up and down and up and down near or at/breaking records all year. That is unusual.
