Obama Cuts Deal With Iran Over Nukes
WND.com ^ | October 18, 2012 | Reza Kahlili

Iranian and U.S. negotiators have reached an agreement that calls for Iran to halt part of its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of many of the U.S. sanctions against the Islamic regime, according to a highly placed source.

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, expects a letter from President Obama in a few days guaranteeing the details of the agreement, arrived at recently during secret negotiations in Doha, Qatar.

The source, who remains anonymous for security reasons and is highly placed in Iran’s regime, said that once Khamenei receives Obama’s guarantees, he will authorize an announcement by Iran on a solution to the nuclear crisis before the U.S. presidential elections.

in other words Iran was scared $$$$less of Romney
Not likely; Iran's economy is getting pounded right now by the sanctions.

Iran’s economy ‘on the verge of collapse’ as currency loses 1/4 of its value in seven days

Iran’s rial plunged against the U.S. dollar in open-market trade on Monday, taking its loss in value over the past week to more than a quarter in further evidence that Western sanctions are shattering the economy.

The freefall suggests sanctions imposed over Iran’s nuclear program are undermining its ability to earn foreign exchange and that its reserves of hard currency may be running low.

The rial traded at 34,200 per dollar according to currency-tracking website Mazanex, down from about 29,720 on Sunday. It was trading at 24,600 last Monday, according to website Mesghal.

So by burying them, you mean don't give them an out and force their hand into developing nuclear weapons? That is not a good idea.

I recall another deal, one with North Korea, where we gave them shit on the promise of no nukes.... remind me how that went?

Let me know how we will verify and contain the ambitions of Iran with a deal where they continue to produce nuclear material capable of building a bomb?

They win with this one. They get sanction lifted for maybe a small delay in their weapons program. A program we have no control over and no means to monitor or verify if they stop research.

how about we just let the country collapse and the people revolt and have a civil war and we just sit back and eat popcorn.
Just think, if Iran and Iraq were still fighting each other today there wouldn't be any terrorism. :D

Problem with any treaty is that they aren't trustworthy.

Then again, neither is Obama.
