I am all for a more socialist society where we funnel money down to the poor and homeless, but unfortunately there seems too much political pressure not to even though I feel this would make America a better nation. Top 1% of US Households hold more wealth than the bottom 50%, redistributing some of the wealth would make sense, but the elite will never let it happen without force.
