Looks like you haven’t read the whole post then, my friend. Yes, there were perhaps proxy wars between Russians and Americans during the Cold War. The whole thing went both ways. We all remember that Cuban missile crisis. The war and Afghanistan America supplying the Taliban. And the Soviet Union, giving aid to the Vietnamese and the north Koreans in those wars.
The Palestinians have never really done anything to America. You’re thinking of Iran in their proxies in Lebanon. Remember, Iran used to be a monarchy where women dressed, however they wanted. When you can recall the great history of Persia, very beautiful women, handsome men, men wearing suits women wearing dresses. They had that for decades until 1979. Although today many women in Iran are dressing, however they want and they’re so many of them doing it, the police in Iran are powerless to do anything. We might just see you returned to the Persian monarchy or some kind of Persian Empire. That will be better for everybody.
Recall that it was the United States that fought two violent wars against the English. We fought the English in the American revolution and the war of 1812. And it was Andrew Jackson as a young boy during the revolution, who stood up to a British soldier. A British soldier who violently assaulted him, and Jackson stood his ground.
OK so if we can fight two violent wars against the British and we are friends today. And we haven’t really ever fought an actual war with this Soviet union of Russia all we can certainly be friends with Russia. Like we were in World War II. And like we were frankly for much of the 90s and before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Again, we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan in the early 2000s in Russia did not give those countries billions of dollars worth of weapons. We are not in the right to give all of these weapons to Ukraine. It’s nonsense. Russia has no interest or real desire to travel thousands of miles Through land in ocean and attack America.
