The war was prolonged by the Iraqi militias attacking our troops long after Saddam was gone. and really did not start until we began transitioning government control back to the Iraqis. Your knowledge of that part of history is lacking. Check the casualty figures by month during the war. There was a definite lull in the fighting after the Iraqi government fell. The militias restarted it when they felt they were not being represented in the new government.

I had to study Freud in the college years of 1980 and now:
