Here's the problem you've got. The Constitution gives Congress the power to declare war, and to appropriate the funds to fight it.

Trump can't prevent anything. Simple as that.

Trump is already fighting it. And the 2 week ceasefire gave him time to have military stocks replenished to the hilt. Everything is in good order.

You really believe the UN exercises authority over the USA? You forget the Arab countries that support Trump defeating the treacherous Iranians.

I believe the US signed the UN Charter, which makes aggressive war illegal.

Every other war we've fought since the end of WWII, we've either helped a legitimate government (Korea, S. Vietnam, Kuwait) or we were acting under UN Resolution (Iraq both time, Afghanistan, Korea)

This war is in complete violation of the UN Charter, a war of aggression against a state that wasn't attacking us and was actively seeking negotiations.
