When you hear the saying "When it is good for the collective", we arent a colony of ants, but individuals with individual needs and goals. This is why Socialism doesnt work.

No, you could not survive on this planet for long without the collective of humans as a social network. When you hear the saying "When it is good for the collective", we arent a colony of ants, but individuals with individual needs and goals. This is why Socialism doesnt work.
I believe Thatcher once said there is no such thing as society just the individual, well that nonsense turned out great ddidn't it?No, you could not survive on this planet for long without the collective of humans as a social network.
Yes. I'm glad someone gets it. In our mixed economy, some industries are definitely run by socialist standards. The example I use most is the fire department, which runs on socialist ideals. Owned by the people, run by the government, funded by each person contributing according to their ability (taxes), and with its service then given freely to those who need, namely the person whose house is on fire.Partly true, however Socialism doesn't mean total control of the means of production just that there should be checks and balances on industry so workers are not exploited, but some industry essential to the Country should be in State hands such as energy, rail, water etc,at the moment we have Corporate fascism.
And we're right back to the central point of the thread: It doesn't "always" start with socialism, because Nazis, for one, weren't socialists. It always starts as Socialism. Geez , you dont have to be a rocket scientist to understand that. Soviet Socialist Society of Russia. Started Socialist, then when everyone stopped working, out came the guns. Venezuela, Socialist at first, then when everyone stopped working, Communist. Cuba, started Socialist, get the drift.
Yeah, it seems that poor people burn their houses down a lot more than the rich, and it is the poor who dont pay nearly enough in taxes. This brings resentment against the poor, and why a lot of people move out of those areas, and move to a more tax friendly state.Yes. I'm glad someone gets it. I would not use the term 'corporate fascism.' Besides being made up, it also contributes to a problem we have these days, that terms such as 'fascism' are so overused that they are losing the impact of their actual subject, like the boy who cried wolf. Fascism this and fascism that gives actual fascism some cover. I'm going to guess you're actually talking about corporate capitalism, which is among other things the heart of the military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us against.
Nazis were all for CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. Socialists are all for CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. Communists are all about CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. What part of that do you not understand? And we're right back to the central point of the thread: It doesn't "always" start with socialism, because Nazis, for one, weren't socialists.
Socialism screams loudly about equality for everyone; everyone owns the factory together, everyone works, everyone shares. Or, the way you talked about it, you make 100 and that guy makes 10, so I'm going to tax you 45 and give it to him so you're equal. Equal, equal, equal.
And the last thing the Nazis wanted was to be equal. The Jew is equal to the Aryan? Nonsense. They said they were superior, not equal.
So, last time: Socialism is a tool, a system used to build your economy. It can be used by democracies (like Denmark and Sweden, who at time of writing are not in danger of rising up) and it can be used by authoritarian systems like communism, which is everyone you just listed. It is even used by us, in blessed America, all the time, and has been all your life.
Communism sucks and fails for the same reason Nazism and fascism suck and fail; because they're authoritarian. Socialism is a tool, not the problem.
Once again, the Socialists put people in power, and soon those people of power "FEEL" starvation isnt going to work, so they FORCE people to work at the point of a gun. I have been on this planet a long time, and everytime i see Socialism get rooted in a country, it soon fails and becomes either a Fascist Dictatorship or a Communist regime of poverty and misery. And we're right back to the central point of the thread: It doesn't "always" start with socialism, because Nazis, for one, weren't socialists.

If Hitler had coke, there'd be Jews in the bathroom with him saying, "I know you didn't do it! Fuckin' Himmler!"They only used socialists in their party name because it was very popular at the time
They hated the working class , peasants and unions
Their pact with giant corporations and industries was only to benefit the elites of the party
Hitler hated communist and many Jews were also far leftist in Europe and communism members

That one is easy: Socialists are not all for a central government. Democratic socialist systems, for example, are not.Nazis were all for CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. Socialists are all for CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. Communists are all about CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. What part of that do you not understand?
I have things to do today so I can't keep going on here, but I'm glad you pointed out that your beliefs are based on your personal observation alone. I salute your passion and endurance, but I encourage you to learn more about the bigger picture beyond your own perspective, and from a non-right-wing source. It might piss you off royally at first, but hopefully after reading for a while you might get a fuller and more objective view.Once again, the Socialists put people in power, and soon those people of power "FEEL" starvation isnt going to work, so they FORCE people to work at the point of a gun. The farther left they go, the more people they kill.Joe Stalin killed more people than Hitler ever dreamed of.
Fascism is a form of socialism. They only used socialists in their party name because it was very popular at the time
They hated the working class , peasants and unions
Their pact with giant corporations and industries was only to benefit the elites of the party

Are you a Democrat now?Democrats do talk about race more than Hitler ever did.
Fascism is a form of socialism.
