Only one-quarter of Americans believe the United States has won the war with Iran, according to a new national poll from The Economist/YouGov, underscoring the public's lingering skepticism over the conflict. The survey found that just 25 percent of respondents said the U.S. won while most remain doubtful that it emerged victorious. The findings suggest that despite the memorandum of understanding and ongoing diplomatic efforts, many Americans remain unconvinced that the military campaign delivered a clear victory. According to the survey, 66 percent say the U.S. should make a deal to end the war as quickly as possible, compared to 10 percent who say no and 24 percent who are unsure. While the president insists the war likely prevented a larger crisis, the poll suggests many Americans remain unconvinced that the U.S. achieved a clear victory.

Twenty five percent huh? Those 25% are probably all members of the Iranian army.

Nobody here in the US seriously thinks we won. Not even close. The blob supporters here even had to call bullshit on the whole sad episode.

We didn’t win...If we did, the CIC (the blob) wouldn’t have had to sign a deal to avoid “Economic Catastrophe”--his words; not mine.

It's sad that ANYONE on either side would call that a "War."

Including Trump.

But, especially the media that twists, distorts, and conflates to push their leftarded agendas.

How is it different than it was Feb 1, 2026?
Iran is negotiating from a position of weakness, their military was bombed, their economy is a shambles, and their vicious regime is terrorizing its citizens to remain in power. I can't tell you yet because the MOU is being negotiated, and then we need to see if it is followed by both parties.
An example is enforceable IAEA inspections.
Under JCPOA they were denied entry to several facilities, under Trump they will not.

Net-net Vegas has it 50/50 the war gets hot again. Trump just wanted to get the price of oil down.

Iran is negotiating from a position of weakness

So then, explain how this "position of weakness" resulted in the United States undertaking to terminate all types of sanctions against Iran, including the United Nations Security Council resolutions, IAEA Board of Governors resolutions, and all unilateral US sanctions; The United States undertakes to make fully available for use the frozen or restricted funds and assets of Iran upon the implementation of the MOU; The United States undertakes with regional partners to develop a definitive, mutually agreed plan with at least US$300 billion for the reconstruction and economic development of Iran; Iran will make arrangements using its best efforts for the safe passage of commercial vessels with no charge for 60 days only from the Persian Gulf to the Sea of Oman; The United States and Iran and their allies […] declare the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

Let me guess, these are the same 25% of people who think Trump ended 8 wars, won the 2020 election, Trump didn't get a blow job from a 13 year old, wasn't friends with Epstein ever, and Stormy Daniels didn't get paid off by Trump for ******* him while his wife was pregnant with their child and jump doesn't tell wrestlers how hot and sexy they are.

The MOU is only a 60-day gentleman's agreement.
i could say Trump got Hormuz open and the price of oil down for just signing a sheet of paper, a major win.
