NATO Countries Pour Weapons Into Ukraine, Risking Conflict With Russia

Didn't Ukraine have any weapons? It's not like they used up what they had. Throwing a truckload of rifles at citizens who never held one is like donating them to the Russian army.

My guess is that it's propaganda to make it look like Russia is killing kittens, babies, and puppies and the grannies are brave enough to learn how to use a gun to stop the Russians from eating the dead. Or something like that?

Does NATO have any other choice? If NATO does nothing, Putin will look at it as a sign of weakness. I am convinced after Ukraine, Putin has set his sights set on the Baltic Nations. They are in NATO.

Putin needs to have his nose bloodied in the Ukraine.

Woah this can grow into another massive regional war since Russia might consider it as an act of war to him and bomb Poland and other nearby countries, he might be that trigger happy?

There is a reason why Human Beings needs to stop being warlike in everything in life or it will eventually kill themselves off in the inevitable nuclear war of the future.

They say war is hell but never able to stop making wars anyway, so the destruction of the environment and families goes on and on and on and EVERYBODY loses.

The Russian army can't beat the Ukrainians, they'd get slaughtered by NATO.

This invasion of Ukraine will go down in history as one of the greatest military blunders ever.

Even if they take the Ukrainian cities, they face a never ending insurgency until they go home.

As of a few days ago, they had committed 75% of their 200k man army. That left about 50K soldiers.

They now have a 40-mile long convoy that's stopped outside of Kyiv. How many vehicles does it take to make a 40-mile long convoy?

If you estimate about 500 vehicles per mile, it takes about 20,000 vehicles. That means that there's only about 2-3 soldiers per vehicle.

What's more is that the Russian Army has has ongoing problems with fuel shortages. Putting 20,000 vehicles on the road when your having fuel shortages isn't such a good idea.

It only takes a few vehicles out of fuel to block the entire convoy.

The West needs to let this go. Let Ukraine be absorbed into the Russian sphere of at least influence. Eastern Europe is a different matter. A buffer zone work and we did not help ourselves by constantly wanting the Russians as an enemy or treating them like a stepchild when they did include them.

It's more than just Putin's best interests White!
Stop thinking armchair war and face the reality of the situation.
Twenty plus years of military under my belt from grunt to short tours as high Corp G staff , and you think I don't face reality? The reality is black and white. Europe, Ukraine and the free world would be fine if Putin had not launched this adventurism. I would never ask somebody else to give up their freedom if they wish to fight to keep it. That is the reality of the situation to me. Fk Putin and his wishes to put the old Soviet back together to threaten his neighbors and the world. Fk his internet trolls, too.

I'm about positive that Russia is having the same supply chain interruptions that the rest of the world is having.
Vehicles require maintenance. And combat vehicles like construction vehicles are prone to break down from the normal use...which is brutal most of the time. (Bullets, grenades and Molotov cocktail)

That long convoy is a disaster zone.

If Putin went and nuked one of the European Nato countries, would the US nuke Russia, knowing that Russia would nuke America back?

There are just so many questions regarding nuclear war!

Or would Russia just nuke the US and not bother with any European countries?

Or if it's not America's war then maybe Russia wouldn't blame America for anything?

And how about China? Would China join Russia in nuking America for no good reason?

Those Ukrainians could cause a world of trouble if this doesn't end well!

Putin wants the whole Russian empire restored, which is quite a bit bigger than the Soviet Union was. He doesn't want to absorb it all into Russia, but he wants to make Russia control it completely through cooperative puppet governments. He's had success with Belarus and central asia. The plan was to extend to eastern europe too. Ukraine blocked him.

The USA needs to not have any boots on the ground. That kind of escalation would give Putin more excuses to escalate, possibly to nuclear weapons use. That's bad. Avoid that.

And for historical reasons, German troops needs to stay far away.

But sending weapons and supplies, that's good. Eastern european nations could send troops to fight. Volunteers from any nations can go.

The strategy is to hold back the invasion while destroying the Russian economy, to make it too painful for them to keep fighting.
If Putin is going to use NUkes---he is going to use nuke whether the US troops on the gound or not. Putin is dead if he loses here========desperate psychopath people do desperate things and don't care about the consequences to the others or the world.

China was conducting war games a few months ago----with the scenerio that RUSSIA and the USA went to war and used nukes against each other. China wants this war, so they can swoop in and become the world power.

I don't doubt it for a second. But, it is not going to happen. We don't even joke about that kind of thing anymore.

China would have no one to stop them from taking Taiwan.

Too bad Joe Biden doesn't give a crap about America's borders they way he does for the Ukraine.

There is an election ad that writes itself

OK Trump, we know you think you built a great and beautiful wall but this is kind of a different situation, far from your loser MAGA voters being inconvenienced having to scroll past Spanish language on their ATM machines.,

Oh my gawd---get a clue, buy a vowel if you have to.

Illegals weren't flooding in under Trump now were they....

What we must ask ourselves is what part do we have in this war here in USA?
Here is another take on this . Watch and discuss I fast forwarded to the to save time just listen to 5 minutes and ask if it is worth a major war for America to get involved in the horror.

I listened right up until he went on to Nato expansion and EU expansion. I especially agreed on his talking point of the US/Nato being to blame for the Crimea.

The later discussion on China/H.K./ Nato expansion is interesting enough for me to hear sometime later when I have the time.

Are there any questions or answers you are interested in pursuing on that video?

Who is Mearsheimer and what's his background?

Keep in mind when Russia wanted to put a base in Cuba aka Cuban Missel Crisis I think it was, Now look at this map and listen to a couple more minutes.
I understand attention spans are wary since the pandemic. Also remember how close we are now to nuclear war!

You are correct in this China taking over the worlds resources and I agree it is wrong but who helped them do so? How much money changed hands between China and our leaders?
Who sold off our manufacturing jobs to China and why?I know NAFTA pretty much finished us off far as factory's and middle class Americans losing jobs to communist or socialist nations.
