But we just won a war in hours. Sheesh, what do they expect?

My pure speculation is that he is pushing back at "troops on the ground." Too much risk for our precious troops. The attitude "we" are displaying in this whole conflagration is unreal. This is a WAR. Troops will get killed. That's what happens. It is a personal tragedy for the individuals and their friends and family but it is an unavoidable product of doing WHAT MUST BE DONE.

George was one of Llyod Austin's stooges from the past administration. Hegseth is cleaning house. Heck George was gonna retire next year anyway.

Firing the Army chief of staff in the middle of a war is always a sign that things are going great
It won't hurt our Iranian action. Simmer down.

Oh, it's war now is it? Wasn't war before.

And there's a reason why no other president has put troops on the ground in Iran. And why the military opposes it. Why do you think? Think Vietnam.

Well.....This is an undeclared war and perfectly Constitutional however, there is a time limit. The Founders made it that way because they knew getting anything through congress could take too long.

That being said, Epic Fury included no U.S. troops on the ground in Iran. There is no full scale invasion of our troops into Iran. The Pentagon has plans for limited ground operations inside Iran (potential raids on Kharg Island, coastal sites, the Straits of Hormuz and missions to secure enriched Uranium.

Look, this is not a war against the country of Iran it is a war against the radical, Islamist fundies that have been oppressing Iran and spreading terror around the world since they overthrew the Shah.

The Military, as an institution, certainly does not oppose what is proposed. You're just taking a fact here and a fact there, providing no context and trying to make some lame TDS point.
