Will Don finally grant Vlad's most fervent desire?

Yet you think he’s a Russian agent.
That is what is called a strawman argument. I did not say he is an agent of Russia. However, it's a fact that he never once rejected Putin's help in the 2016 election nor did he repudiate Putin for meddling on his behalf. Nor did he or anyone in his campaign report contacts from Russian operatives to the FBI as required by law. It's also a fact he lifted sanctions on the sale of Russian oil to the benefit of billions for them.

These inconvenient truths don't disappear because you ignore them.

Here is some real Russian collusion. Not your phony one.

Heather Conley, the director of the Europe Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, told CNN that Russia has previously suggested that it could retaliate for the missile defense system by stationing S-300 surface-to-air missile systems in Crimea and Kaliningrad, its European enclave located between Poland and Lithuania.

Obama had previously drawn criticism from politicians in the U.S. and Europe for canceling the Bush-era plan to station land-based interceptors in Poland and the Czech Republic in 2009. Obama was further criticized for announcing the change on the day of the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s invasion of Poland during World War II.

Conley said that announcement would “go down in the history of poorly timed announcements.”

Obama was also caught on an open mic in 2012 telling then-Russian President Dimitry Medvedev, that “After my election I have more flexibility,” with regard to the U.S.-led NATO missile defense system in Europe.

Obama’s posture made the Poles and Czechs “very concerned” that the entire missile defense project would be abandoned by his administration, according to Conley.

But, she said, “What they wound up getting with the current system was more robust than they had anticipated.”

Conley said that the Obama administration might have switched gears on the Bush plan in part because it may have been trying to “buy time in order to make the case” to Russia that the new system was not directed against them.

GFY.

U.S. to Withdraw 5,000 Troops From Germany, Pentagon Says

Pentagon officials said on Friday that they were pulling 5,000 troops from Germany and would redeploy them to the United States and other posts overseas.

The Defense Department is also canceling a plan developed under the Biden administration to place a missile-equipped artillery unit in Europe.

The moves will return U.S. forces in Europe to the level they were in 2022, before Russia began its war in Ukraine, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss the planning process. Last year, the Pentagon redeployed a brigade in Romania and did not send replacement forces.

The Pentagon’s latest pullback was sharply criticized on Saturday by senior Republicans in Congress, who cited the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.

Sean Parnell, a Pentagon spokesman, said in a statement that the withdrawal would be completed over the next six to 12 months.

“This decision follows a thorough review of the department’s force posture in Europe and is in recognition of theater requirements and conditions on the ground,” he said.

The Defense Department — particularly during both of President Trump’s terms — has for several years considered decreasing the military presence in Germany. But senior defense officials privately made it clear that they wanted the move to be seen as a punishment for Germany, whose recent comments about the U.S. war in Iran have annoyed Mr. Trump.

That's how policy decisions on the NATO alliance are being made? According to the orange snowflake's level of annoyance with being criticized? Put your big boy pants on Don, if you have any.

As proven in Mueller's report, saying "Russiagate" is a hoax couldn't be further from the truth. Wake up and read the report.

Pulling out of NATO would be an even bigger strategic blunder than invading Iraq.
Why worry about Russiagate with the current Trumpgate is far worse?

While it is abundantly clear that Putin is an evil piece of shit, he is still better than democrats. What does that tell you?
And he's way better than Netanyahu and even Trump.

Trump says he’s considering pulling U.S. out of ‘paper tiger’ NATO

U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly considering pulling the U.S. out of NATO, in the latest threat to America’s allies after their reluctance to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

In an interview with The Telegraph newspaper, the president described the 77-year-old defensive alliance as a “paper tiger” and, when asked if he would reconsider the U.S.′ membership of the bloc after the Iran conflict ends, Trump told the paper: “Oh yes, I would say [it’s] beyond reconsideration.”

“I was never swayed by NATO. I always knew they were a paper tiger, and Putin knows that too, by the way,” he said, in comments published Wednesday.

Trump has been angered by European allies’ refusal to send warships to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a vital oil and gas maritime passage controlled by Iran, and at their refusal to let the U.S. use military bases to launch attacks against the Islamic Republic.

One would have thought the billions in oil revenue Russia was given by Don was enough of a gift. A curious decision after Russia has been aiding Iran (which also had oil sale sanctions lifted) with intel used for missile and drone targets. Apparently, when it comes to Vlad, the guy who never once objected to Russia's help during the 2016 campaign can be very generous.

trump pulling the US out of NATO is something he wanted to do during the first regime. But wiser heads prevailed. In trump 2.0 there are no wiser heads. More like bobbleheads that nod yes on command.

After mission failure in Iran there will be tremendous efforts made to establish scapegoats and make dubious declarations of victory. I caution trump devotees against accepting claims of success and the assignment of scorn for the purposes of obfuscation. Think for yourselves.
Trump thinks NATO should be an attack organization. It's not.

He can't demand they help him with an attack on Iran. But he does anyway, then complains that NATO isn't doing its job.

It's tiring having to deal with someone who doesn't care what an organization is for. He just demands they serve him, no matter the circumstance. Which is like everything he does. He wants yes men.
