Nancy Pelosi re-wrote long-standing House Rules in a very partisan manner. From non-gender pronouns, to new metal detectors, to impeachment without a hearing, to calling for a military coup against Trump, to who knows what is to come.
These decisions could backfire on the democrats in 2022 if/when the GOP takes the gavel back.

In 2022 the Republicans could pass the following Rules or the democrats do not get a paycheck:
1. Must wear cowboy hats when in the chamber
2. Must wear cowboy boots when in the chamber
3. Must use the word "y'all" when addressing anyone when in the chamber
4. Must carry a visible sidearm at all times when in the chamber (unloaded is an option)
5. Must wear a US flag patch when when in the chamber
6. Must take weekly shooting practice and instruction to be proficient and safe with sidearm
7. Take an impeachment vote on Joe Biden for any reason at all weekly.

Any more suggestions for new House Rules when the GOP takes the House back?

Shortsightedness is common to both parties.

Making a whole lot of assumptions. On November 4th, I would have said Republicans would have a good shot of taking back the House. Now? The 2022 campaign commercials for Democrats are just about writing themselves. Two years is a long time. BTW, what are you going to do about the Republicans from northern states who are gonna tell them to GFY when you ask them to wear cowboy boots or cowboy hats? I don't even see many southern Republicans doing that. :)

The creepazoid leftwing rules about not ever using any gendered language like he or she or mother or father reminded me that the 1/6 event was not a revolution so much as a counter-revolution.

Because the Left is behaving just like the Jacobins in the French Revolution: constant rioting and burning and looting and killing. And then after they got warmed up, about 1792, they started with the weirdo stuff like this new Dem anti-gender stuff. The Jacobins renamed all the months and days; they switched to a week (decadi) of ten days, three in a month, with only one day off each ten-day (that was unpopular). After looting and destroying many great churches and cathedrals and throwing the bones of France's kings into the sewers, they invented a new "god," the Supreme Being Goddess of Reason and Robespierre, the great murderer, donned white robes as her Pope and climbed a papier-mache stage to give a speech. Everyone started to laugh, finally, and he disappeared for a month and then they guillotined him. After that the counter-revolution gradually won, especially after Napoleon took over. They put back all the names of the months and days and put God back and put back the seven-day week.

One problem with the Decadi, three ten-days every month (I like it and use it for organizing my activities) was that there were days left over at the end of the year, so these crazy Jacobins said to call those days the Sans Cullottes days, which had been a silly Revolutionary slogan unfortunately meaning "no pants."

This so very did not work out and so they just put everything back like normal. I assume that will happen with the amazing craziness of the Dems and their nutty rules when our counter-revolution wins.

8. All pretty girls in Congress must wear short skirts and tops with cleavage. All shank ho Democrat women must wear a Tyvek suit that covers them from head to toe, and wear a funny halloween mask.

Gee. This one would actually make Pelosi look pretty.

First, Trump has done quite effectively what I knew he would do. He has destroyed the Republican party. They won't take back the House, ever. Thought won't take control of the Senate, ever. And Trump will be the last Republican president. Even before Trump, the Republican party was dominated by old, angry, white men. They were dying off at greater numbers than WWII vets before Trump was elected, and they are dying even faster now.

Second, the House rewrites the rules at every Congress. There is no such thing as a "long standing House rule", they all sunset at the end of the term. The House begins with basic rules of order and passing new rules is among the first order of business, usually done on the first day of a term.

The bloodshed soon followed with a frenzy because stupid people want it. Just look at the inner city streets, that flow red weekly. Better arm up and hunker down, it is only going to get worse before it gets better.....

I'm just using exaggerated examples of the kind of goofy rules that could be made.
Even if you scratch the cowboy boots & hats, the sidearms, "y'all", and US flag patch would make the dems melt like the wicked witch.
The weekly Biden Impeachment vote would also be a reminder of what happens when you push partisanship to the limits.

Is it weird at all that the destroyed party didn't lose a single house seat and gained enough to almost be even?
Massive fraud in 2 senate races and the presidential election is all that kept democrats from remaing a regional party.

How about she writes one that says "you must not have supported tRump's attempt to overturn a duly conducted and certified election to enter the chamber"?
