The problem with Jews who vote Democrat is that their liberalism trumps their Judaism, and as a result they are willing to support the Party that warmly welcomes antisemitic and anti-Israel elected officials. They minimize antisemitism, and as such, embolden antisemites.

At the same time, they encompass the worst traits of liberals in general - extremely hostile toward Jews who won’t vote “their” way. My 90-year-old mother changed synagogues after a member cussed her out, in the hall immediately after Shabbos services, for voting for Trump. I had another one approach me at the reception following my father’s funeral - my father’s funeral! - and berate me for, as he claimed, voting for a racist.

Jewish Democrats are unwilling or unable to see the harm they do to their own people when they rally around and defend antisemites, and transmit to the entire country that they care more about Islamophobia than antisemitism.

As another example of the OP’s point, liberal Fairfax County in northern Virginia has an anti-Israel extremist on the School Board who has been spewing her venom on social media - all in the midst of rising antisemitism in Fairfax County Schools.

Being liberal, the focus is on racism, of course, and thus concerns for antisemitism gets a shrug . Thus, when some Jewish parents complained to a local Jewish council, the liberal members of that council did….nothing.

"Contrary to what are surely the prevailing assumptions, anti-Semitic incidents have constituted half of all hate crimes in New York this year, according to the Police Department. To put that figure in context, there have been four times as many crimes motivated by bias against Jews — 142 in all — as there have against blacks. Hate crimes against Jews have outnumbered hate crimes targeted at transgender people by a factor of 20.

If anti-Semitism bypasses consideration as a serious problem in New York, it is to some extent because it refuses to conform to an easy narrative with a single ideological enemy. During the past 22 months, not one person caught or identified as the aggressor in an anti-Semitic hate crime has been associated with a far right-wing group, Mark Molinari, commanding officer of the police department’s Hate Crimes Task Force, told me."

Hitler.”

Ibrahim holds other repellent views as well. As a mob was attacking the United States embassy in Cairo on the eleventh anniversary of 9/11, pulling down the American flag and raising the flag of Al Qaeda, Ibrahim wrote on twitter: “Today is the anniversary of 9/11. What’s hard is bringing a resolution to the House floor condemning a representative’s bigotry when you don’t want to and you’re afraid of making people mad, even though what we’re talking about here is Jew-hatred. We’re talking about a member of Congress attacking a small minority group.

You are a very bright young lady.

With that said, have you any how to convey this information to Democrat Jews? In swing states where there is a decent percentage of Jews, such as Florida, even a relatively small switch among Jews from the D to the R could turn the state, and possibly the national election.

In my conservations with liberal Jews, when they aren’t accosting me at my father‘s funeral (RIP, Dad), emailing me insulting jokes about Jews who vote Republican, or otherwise personally attacking me, their venom for Republicans generally, and Jewish Republicans specifically, is so extreme that they are closed to any discussions whatsoever.

I belong to a group that has as one of its objectives to educate Congress about the TRUTH regarding Israel, so as to keep our representatives from being influenced by the anti-semitic Squad members (did you hear they tried to get the Iron Dome defunded so to enable the Islamic terrorists to kill defenseless Jewish civilians?), and thus far we have been successful.

Where we have been less successful is at the college level, where the liberal colleges enable antisemitism to flourish. Trump was pushing for legislation to withhold Fed funds from these antisemitic campuses - he had a temporary measure in place via an EO - but the Democrats, including New York Jewish Democrats, balked.

In summary, you’ve done an excellent job demonstrating how much more prevalent antisemitism is on the left - great pie chart showing how Dems blamed Jews for the financial crisis more than Republicans did - but how do we take it to the next step and educate the Jewish Democrats who are voting for the tolerance of antisemitism?
