After Comey was fired, Kash would have replaced him instead of Christopher Wray except that Bill Barr was so opposed he threatened to quit. So we got another deep state operative like Wray,

I don't know jack about Patel. That said, the writing you posted by "Shipwreckedcrew" was sensibly written, if that is how Patel did in the position and is actually competent to operate.

What's your take on Patel. somebody from outside, that can actually accomplish taking control and affecting positive change along the lines envisioned by Shipwreck, or somebody that will further wreck that agency, but along the lines of trumpian retribution for retribution’ sake?

I will watch for entertainment value, if not involved with kayaking, swimming in the pool or vacationing, etc.
