Museums Shuttering Native American Exhibits - More Museum and Arts Suicide

Native history existed before there was an America.
Yeah, and how much archeology, and preservation was being done by those natives? Nearly none other than story telling the bulk of what is know of these people comes from the contributions of archeologists, and museums. Without them. You, and even actual native Americans would have little more than hand me down folk tales...

Hand me down folk tales is how we roll, bitch.

The museum suicide and cultural destruction has gone national (link). I am personally in mourning; the Museum of Natural History is closing to exhibits I grew up with, the Eastern Woodlands and Great Plains exhibit. Can whatever brainchild came up with these regulations fine me a significant number of offended Native Americans? Excerpts:

Why would actual Native Americans, including leaders, want to discourage education of the population about America's past? Unless the plan is to remove everyone post-colonization as well, leaving the museums an empty shell. I know that Americans are now being made to mourn not only their history, but their lives as well.

Or maybe the ultimatum solution will be to return these artifacts to their people and if you're interested you can go get your education from them. :dunno:

You don't need archeology to unearth artifacts of a thriving, living culture. The culture that decimated that culture doesn't get to use that destruction as an excuse for why you get to keep their shit.

American Taliban strikes again to destroy history.

The Injins lost. They should have had a more stringent immigration policy.

They have their casinos so no need to kiss their red asses.

Kinda seems like you're losing. :itsok:

First off you don’t give a fuck about our history. Stop pretending you do.
Second we had no immigration laws because we never knew such evil, sadistic trash like colonizers existed.

Yes, well shit happens.

It could’ve easily been the other way. Settlers could’ve moved in meth native Americans, and found out too late. They had a horrible disease that they had involved cope with that wiped all the settlers out.

North America was untamed and wild. The Native American tribes had chosen to break some lives to the wild animals. Yet the English and immigrant settlers did not hunt them for sport. No breed them like cattle. Nor use them as slaves as the Spanish did. The Native Americans could’ve live peacefully as they always had, if they simply let the settlers Alone in the lands they were developing.
I generally agree but that may be taking the argument too far. If the settlers reduced the available wildlife it may have sucked for the Amerindians.

Yes, you have a point there. And I thank you for responding to my absurdly mistyped post. The thing is, that reduction of wildlife would’ve been slow and gradual, giving the Native Americans time to adjust. Honestly, the best thing for them would’ve been To learn and grow as a people from the settlers.

Ingles settlers in North America did not treat the Native Americans nearly as badly as the Spanish for example. But we haven’t treated them well. Giving them the reservations was probably the worst thing we ever did for them.

Siri dictation does not do wonders for posts. I often post from bed before going to sleep with like results.

The mammoth died out rather fast. That is about the only species I would like to see resurrected from a test tube.

Unfortunately primitive people almost never do well in juxtaposition to advanced people. The same thing is playing out with the Israelis and Arabs. And among native tribes. I doubt Aztecs were gentle conquerors.

Wokeness needs to be soundly defeated.
