Mankeeping

If a significant porton of your peers are... twisted up in mental pretzels with questions about their "identity", and confusion about who they should even be attracted to,

I would think that WOULD contribute to making dating more difficult.
The internet, social media and too much screen time is stunting their emotional/social growth.

They’re far more immature then we were at their age and that manifests in many ways, their reluctance to move out of their parents’ house, their indecisiveness and lack of problem solving skills. They’re even waiting longer to get their drivers licenses. Delayed sex is merely one of many symptoms.

Can’t blame the gays for any of this

We NEED time for people to have a community and socialize.

Right now, with everyone working so much and at all times, it is difficult to have any type of civil activity or organization.

I have to award you an A plus on that post. Very well said.
Wake up, 2 people rushing around, rush off to work. Come home, rush around to take care of chores. Maybe an hour to relax then go to sleep to be under the pressure cooker tomorrow. Day after day. Week after week. And then we think things wont change?

I know you’ve obviously never worked a working class job, but you do realize that people who have to work some weekends get a couple days off during the week on the weeks they’re scheduled to work a weekend, right? That’s how it works.

It wouldn't be an issue as much if the workplace wasn't regimented so much due to corporate fears over harassment complaints.

The line between actual harassment and clumsy dating attempts has been blurred so much men are mostly terrified to make any moves.

Making moves at work is bad news. Two people working and dating in the same place is a recipe for failure.

I wouldn't. The whole idea is to explore who you're attracted to. That would increase the frequency of people connecting.

Except we can see that the OPPOSITE is actually happening.

The right just wants a scapegoat and will look for any excuse to blame LGBTQ for anything they can.

Actually, I want to identify the causes of the problem and address them. Hopefully FIXING them so the problem goes away.

But the whole thread is premised on the idea that men in particular aren't socializing like they used to. Finding out why is probably way more important than whining about gay and bisexual people.

What if gay and bisexual people are part of the problem?

How much did you work when you were raising a family? How much did your spouse work when raising a family?
Depends at what point.
When the kids were really young I worked full time, and also flipped houses. Figured out it was easier to earn money replacing roofs with my guys so I switched to that. I probably worked 60-70 hours a week for about 5 years till I was promoted, and then promoted again, and once more.
Oh - my 1st wife worked 32 hours a week back then

Also a problem, yes.

I see the "T+'s" as the main part of the problem. The trick is to get the LGB's to realize the T+'s are creating a backlash against the entire social group.

Seems like you want to scapegoat the left.

Maybe, but unlikely. Gay and bisexual people actually have a pretty robust community. If they were the problem, then we wouldn't see the effects so widespread throughout society.

We can see signs of the problem way before anyone would be sexually active. Kids don't hang out with other kids nearly as much as they used to.

I'm quite sure the bulk, if not the entirety of the problem stems from technology and overprotective parents.

The "I worked 60-70 hours a week and was a great parent" smacks of bullshit.

Agreed. That is certainly a major contributing factor.

I'mthink I have to disagree with the bit about moving out of parents house. IMO, from what I have seen, ESPECIALLY if the kid is still in college, moving our before getting a real job, is not a good thing.

We older people need to realize that the cost of living, rent, ect, is not the same as it was when we did it.

The drivers license, is a real thing. I have seen that too. Very strange.

Can’t blame the gays for any of this

Wasn't trying to.

15th post
We have a sexual crises in Western society created by feminism and woke mentality.
An unbelievable stat is now 70% of kids graduate high school and have not had sex. Kids just aren't that interested in it. WTF?? Anyone not thinking this is a major problem has their head up there ass
Don't know, Could be that kids are afraid of being pregnant, and will not be allowed to use any birth control.
Something many are suggesting.
Then the other side of the coin, supporting waiting for some maturity before having sex.
Yet not pushing sex as some sort of evil thing.

I think it's more the feminists.

Where are they supposed to go?
Do you mean where could they drive to? What kind of a question is that? To school, to work, to their buddies houses, to a party, to the beach?

I was poor, but even us poor kids could drive up and down the main drag thinking we were badasses.

The kinds of stuff kids are supposed to want to do around 16
