Being gay does not produce procreating sex.
Does everything have to come with a grade school level explanation???
You were whining about people not having sex. You didn't say anything about procreating sex.

Shit policies.

Nothing about capitalism that says we need to work on weekends.
Sure it does. Capitalism says we work on weekends to get ahead of the competition.

I look at the rapidly increasing number of child free couples out there. Theyre both working at least full time if not more, to just barely get bills paid. Theyre tired, stressed, and barely hanging on financially. The little money they can put away is for fun things. Theres little maternity and paternity leave. Health care is pricey. They have student loans to pay. Only a couple weeks of vacation time. Its no wonder why theyve chosen this path.

No, capitalism "says" you work on weekends due to demand.
Otherwise there would be shortages.
Working weekends will help when it means eating or not eating. 40 hours per week per person person is not enough to make ends meet in a lot of marriages.

You all realize that there are jobs that require 24/7 coverage, right?

We’re not all office drones

It's a general statement. I trusted that you knew I was not talking about e.r. nurses or firemen.

AKA real jobs

There are real jobs that can be done from home at least partially.

Things like accounting, design engineering, IT, etc.

I work in Construction as an Owner's rep/Resident Engineer, so I have to be onsite 40 hours a week.

The majority of people with full time jobs have health coverage though their work. At least in my experience.

Some jobs are also what you call "presence" jobs, meaning you can't do them from home sitting in front of your work laptop.

But a lot of jobs AREN'T.

And we gave up our weekends, and that, imo, was a mistake and a factor contributing to our current bad situation.

Oh he knows - the tribal/obtuse stupidity where people are pretending to not know what you are saying is off the charts in this thread.
Liberals will do anything to avoid acknowledging the truth
