And cheap college and training so they can get good jobs like if they were German or French or Danish or Australian or Japanese. So let her go to college. There are paths to a degree that don’t entail much, if any, debt:

1. Go the first two years to community college.

2. Earn a B average.

3. Get an academic transfer scholarship (for the 3.0 GPA) to State U, which will cover about 1/3 to 1/2 the tuition.

4. Borrow around $10,000 or $15,000 at max for the final two years - lots less than the $30,000 the kids are borrowing to buy a car.
