Taiwan is technically Chinese territory. Unless they just marched and slaughtered every single person in mass genocide, or they started moving on other countries it isn't our place to get involved really.
I might be more inclined to say we should be ready but the fact is we can't even fully take care of our own country or it's citizens. We ship supplies meant for Americans to illegals at our border we're letting come in, we shipped god knows much money worth of equipment to uktraine and still trying to send them 10s of billions of dollars, we're letting Ukrainian and afgani people come here, on top of our inflation and shit load of other problems. We're nowhere near in a position to help yet another country.
It's not even guaranteed china will go after them. Most likely scenario is they are waiting to see how Russia comes out the end on the Ukraine before they make a move.
