Lead in water in Michigan

Governor Releases Emails Tied to Flint Water Crisis

So is this how Progs stay in power? Do they just poison the minds of the voters in order to stay in power?

In a way, Votto:
they feed the belief that power depends on electing people to vote for "whatever benefits they want out of govt"; and has nothing to do with enforcing Constitutional laws <-- which they teach are outdated, or only empower the opposition, and/or need to be replaced.

So the followers keep depending on party leaders to decide policy, and aren't taught to empower themselves by invoking and enforcing Constitutional laws directly. They become as sheep depending on party leaders, especially when they start depending on govt for benefits and get bought out; this is similar to how cults get people depending on them so they retain control.

When the church went through this stage, there was a whole Reformation movement to teach people to invoke authority of law and govern their lives DIRECTLY under the scriptural laws and QUIT RELYING ON CATHOLIC AUTHORITY to be the go between or middle man. This was a HUGE step in people becoming independent, and getting away from corrupt religious monopoly.

Now when the state is going through this stage, again, the movement is to teach people to invoke CONSTITUTIONAL LAWS directly, govern themselves by those, and QUIT RELYING ON PARTY AND POLITICIANS BUYING AND SELLING FAVOR AS THE MIDDLE MAN.

In the church history, the practice was called selling indulgences, so people could buy their way out of sin.
In the state system, people are buying lawyers and judges to get out of crimes or charges; and paying politicians and campaign funds for the bigger corporate interests to win favor in courts and with laws.

Both church and state have suffered corruption by this habit of people buying their way into the monopoly on knowledge and authority of law.

So the key to breaking out of this monopoly is doing what the Reformation did and teach people to govern themselves directly by the laws instead of relying on middle men that exploit that authority for selfish benefit.

With the church, this liberation took place by people becoming literate and being able to read and teach directly from the Bible without having to go through Priests and Clergy who were relied on as Scribes while the masses were mostly illiterate.

Today we have people illiterate in the Constitutional laws, who don't know the people have the power and the Constitution serves as a check on Govt. Too many people are taught they have no power "except what the govt gives them and protects for them by passing laws" This is backwards.

By teaching people to govern themselves, organize and manage their own resources, and quit paying taxes and giving up power to govt just to be controlled like slaves,
then people can be liberated from overreliance on govt. The same way the Reformation sought to break the monopoly by corrupt Catholic authorities abusing their positions to profit off the people.

You are dreaming.

Governments are like stars. They just grow bigger, and bigger, and bigger, until they either explode or implode and form a life sucking universe consuming black hole from which nothing escapes.

There is no going back.

Basically what Hotheaded Cincinnati Reds First Baseman is saying is:

I know everyone has seen the pictures of the water in the glasses. Looking at how nasty the water looked anyone that gave that nasty colored water to their children to drink should be arrested for child abuse. Surely the pictures of the water was exaggerated by the media. That is what they do best.
