Kyle Rittenhouse trial...already disproving SO MANY LIES from the left

Arson is a violent crime.
And even if so - so what?
I'd really like to know where rosenbaum got the accelerant and ignitors to create the fires he did. all he had was a bag, it's what the prosecution stated.

Curious, if the government had acted in its capacity to prevent this riot, Rittenhouse (foolishly or otherwise) would not have been compelled to go out there that night.

Who was there to restore order to the rest of the city?
well said. My thoughts exactly.

What exactly is the use in declaring this a mistrial?

The prosecution is trying to create public uncertainty around the actions of Rittenhouse by attempting to stop this trial from going to a jury verdict.

No verdict and no certainty means speculation runs rampant and the story is lost to time.

So uncertainty is better than a loss from their perspective.

I guess that makes sense.

Well, it is the state we're talking about. They know they kneejerked this indictment and would rather the public forget about it rather than a jury acquitting Rittenhouse and calling their actions into further question.

Rittenhouse said it himself in his testimony. There was no violence. It wasn't like the previous nights. Just a couple of dumpster fires. Things were so boring, that he went out looking for "people to help" with his friend - and his gun. When the danger to the place he was "protecting" was over, he went elsewhere to find the trouble.
Arson is violence yes there was and he did not testify that there was none

I think that fault lies with the city leaders for not following the oath that they took to protect and serve the citizens. If the city leaders fail to provide protection then they have no fault against the citizens who provide their own protection.

hey, I'm not going to say he wasn't stupid. But being stupid and murderer are two separate things. It is obvious from his jobs and testimony presented he liked to help people. Grayslake, Antioch fire departments, life guarding, scrubbing the school. It seems his character is built very well. Being stupid is inherent in kids.

Oh I know but he was innocent and the city failed its own citizens. The city leaders should be held accountable for what happened. THEN, we wouldn't see this lawlessness.

Makes sense as the prosecutor knows he lost.

Why doesnt the judge throw out the charges due to lack of evidence. Would save the jury from being harrassed later. Everyone kniws theyll get tsrgetted

He wants the jury to rule. He doesnt want it to seem like he unilaterally issued the verdict.

The prosecutor knows the public pressure on the judge and is using it against him.

The prosecutor should be disbarred. This is disgusting.

I dont think this POS prosecutor thought this was going to trial.

Correct. They all need to be held accountable for their actions. But many here believe everybody else should be held accountable except Rittenhouse. That's my problem with this case; well, that and it's people like him that give us legal gun carriers a bad name.

Right. But at the same time there are those here who say Rittenhouse committed straight up murder and should be locked away for life.

The way I see it, the rioting, looting and arson had been going on almost nonstop for a year and for the most part, authorities sat back and watched. Many people like Rittenhouse, myself, a lot of conservatives and generally those who are for law and order were sick and tired of it. We were sick and tired of the arrogance of these people who blatantly flouted the law because they thought they were justified in looting and burning by virtue of their righteous indignation and the politicians and authorities giving them free rein.

As tragic as it was for all involved, something like this was inevitable.
