One tip that worked for me with my little Mini Aussie: There's a homeopathic preparation called "Rescue Remedy". It's a liquid that comes in a dropper bottle. I would rub a few drops into my dog's skin behind her ears and at the base of her tail. Worked pretty well to keep her calmer during fireworks.
