Zone1 Thoughts about Freedom of Religion in the USA

Which is why for literally over a 150 years people have been saying that Islam is incompatible with American values.....Teddy Roosevelt banned muslims from immigrating to the USA. I saw no reason to change that policy but we did for some reason.
So are the values of the Left.

Much of Sharia law is in violation of civil law.
Sharia law is considered incompatible with international human rights standards by many international bodies and human rights organizations, primarily due to restrictions on freedom of religion, gender inequality, and the use of harsh corporal punishments. While interpreted variedly by Muslims, its strict application often clashes with modern rights frameworks regarding equality and due process.
European Centre for Law and Justice | ECLJ +4
Key areas of conflict, according to critics and reports, include:
  • Freedom of Religion & Expression: Sharia often prohibits apostasy (leaving Islam), which can be punished by death, and restricts speech that is deemed against Islamic principles.
  • Women's Rights:
Interpretations in some nations lead to systemic discrimination, including unequal inheritance, limited freedom of movement, and the requirement of male guardianship.
    • Physical Punishments (Hudud): Traditional punishments for crimes like theft or adultery—such as amputations, floggings, or stoning—are viewed as torture or cruel and unusual punishment under modern human rights laws.
    • Legal Equality: Non-Muslims and women may face unequal status in legal proceedings and personal status matters compared to Muslim

I hear you. In my opinion, you and people who think like you, are the ones that will bring our country down. 250 years ago, our founding fathers put together the documents for a "more perfect union" that has worked for 250 years unless Trump and people like you change it like you say.
Sometimes, things need to be brought down, in order to build them up again.......stonger.

Those that protest Sharia law will either need to be killed or voted out.

This is the view of mainstream Islam.

Muslims who come to America should have to renounce wanting to convert the country they enter into accepting Sharia law.

But most would probably just lie about it anyway. The thing is, the other Muslims who might be sincere about not wanting to spread Sharia would not be a real Muslim.

Not sure what city or place that meme is depicting but close to me there is a Mosque and a Synagogue across the street from one another and another half dozen or more Churches of various Christian Sects within a few miles, on the same street.

Never seen a single protester from any religion anywhere in the area.
It's the same where I live--except next door to the Mosque and across from the Synagogue is a Christian church. When any one of the three is celebrating a religious holiday or event, they help one another with parking space.

Yep, it would be equivalent to Christians demanding that the political law by the Ten Commandments or something, instead of the laws of the land in which they preside.

All Islam is about is spreading Sharia around the world, yet the Left does not care.
It is not that many of our laws are specifically based on the Ten Commandments, it is that laws generally considered necessary are coincidentally those contained in the Ten Commandments. It would be utterly foolish to say we cannot prohibit murder or theft because of the Ten Commandments and doing so makes us a Christian Theocracy.

There is a REASON why Muslims are leaving their homes in droves and trying to move into literally anywhere in the world that there are no muslims....because anywhere is better than where muslims or communists are in control.

Russians would love to come to the USA....and some have. Once they go America they are talked badly about by those who stayed...but they really don't care once they taste true freedom.
The reason why Muslims leave their homes in droves and move all over the world is not because they are escaping Islam. They are spreading Islam. Islam is to dominate the world by migration jihad. They move to where there are no Muslims and before you know it, threats of violence close the Christmas markets.

If they LEGALLY came here, they DID renounce any and all associations to anything detrimental to the USA.

That means, if they LEGALLY came here, they are TRAITORS.

If they came here illegally or have "green cards", they are TERRORISTS.

Many are very poor Islam adherents....
Just like there are all sorts of backsliding Catholics and Baptists....
But just because you backslide....we don't crucify you or set you on fire.

I have met many former Muslims who have basically renounced their CULT. They eat ham and bacon, decide Jews aren't evil, just annoying and Americans are weird but not Satanic.

They know there is a God but it's not what the Imams preach about.

Just like we have nominal Christians....they have nominal Muslims.

And when we have mass migrations there is a reluctance by the immigrants to give up their former culture and embrace ours. Because we shove them all into the same neighborhoods where it's easier to not assimilate than to embrace what it means to be an American....
Their children however.....completely different story.
2nd and 3rd Gen immigrants turn their backs on original culture....but tend to miss out on the responsibilities that go with such freedoms.

Our system is built to change within the constitution and ammendments. Our constitution trys to preven an executive branch power grab the Trump is doing.

Those whom love Trump more than our country, feel like you do.

Anyone who adheres to Sharia law over the laws of the US does not belong in the USA.
Not all Muslims put sharia law over the laws of the USA.

It is also built to prevent legislative power grabs and judicial power grabs.

True,

A key dynamic

Ironically, both the presidency and courts can gain power at the same
Presidents act more aggressively
Courts become the main institution deciding whether those actions stand
Congress becomes less central

Political scientists sometimes call this “government by executive action and litigation.”

The difference between these two situations is completely radical. In the United States, you can be an Atheist, not worship any fictional god, or one that those of the Abrahamic belief is real (pssst...but isn't) and that's fine. The more annoying ones will on rare occasions, show up on your doorstep to preach to you, but you can politely decline (or rudely in my case) then shut the door on them.
Islam on the other hand, isn't just religious it is also political. It is an extreme Patriarchal (controlled by men) Theocracy. Period. The Imams, Mullahs and Ayatollahs, all boast that they are a "conquering religion." The word Islam means to "submit." They absolutely do not ascribe to the belief that they can live peacefully alongside any other religion and any method they can use to achieve that goal is acceptable. Between 1979 and 2024, there have been 66.872 Islamic attacks on people, resulting in 249,941 deaths. This is part of their asymmetrical warfare on "non-believers."
The U.S. Constitution has in its First Amendment, "the freedom of religion." That said, it did NOT say you have the freedom of any particular political party, as there were no political parties at the founding of our country and as Islam and its Theocratic rule (political style government) is tied together with its religious beliefs, the politics side isn't protected and can disregarded. Since one aspect of it can be easily proven to be violent and political, it can be thrown out. To achieve this, Martial Law must be declared and troops used to round them out and ship them off to nations that fit their beliefs.
Before you start pointing fingers and screaming Nazis. I will remind all of you that the Nazi government WAS NOT shipping out those they considered undesirable (Jews, Romanis, mentally handicapped), they were rounding them up and exterminating them. Big difference.

We aren't talking about those who are SERIOUSLY looking for freedom from violence and religious on religious persecution.
We are talking about the Holy War Mongrels out to kill everything in their way.

The covenant of Abraham
The covenant with Abraham is foundational to the three major Abrahamic religions:
Judaism
Christianity
Islam

All of those three religions have different sects that interpret, Judaism, Christianity and Islam different.

One thing is for sure, not one religion has all member believe the same.

Everyone thinks they have the secret what you have to do to get to Heaven.

There are 4,200 recognized religions in the world and almost every one of them claim to be the one true religion. Technically, Buddhism is a philosophy, one that people bring their own religion into it, so it's lumped in with religion.
Anyway, Islam is incompatible with western civilization, and their religious leaders say that other religions are not compatible with Islam. So, to allow it to grow exponentially inside the west, means the death of the west and western continents becoming Patriarchal Theocracies, no different that centuries ago when Spain's Catholic Inquisition murdered masses of people.
For those ignorant of Islam's danger to shrug and say, "well, they are a religion and have a right to thrive in the west," is to self-destruct. Commit suicide. One just has to look at Islamist nations like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, et cetera and see that there is no Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Shintoism, or Atheism (beyond some contracted workers). The reason is that non-Muslims fell into one of the following situations: They were killed off, subjugated (enslaved), converted at the threat of their lives, or fled the region. That is what the west will eventually be facing. So, over time, where will non-Muslims who won't convert flee to?
Poland, North Korea, and Japan. There are a few that heavily restrict their presence and practice, but it's not a large list.
There is no such thing as Islamophobia. There IS Islamotrauma.

Read the history of Jews in western europe. They were persecuted. As a result they fled to eastern europe where Islam was more welcoming. How about the Christian crusades.
It is not the religion, it is the group of humans that interpret and implement the religion is. In all three religions we see members wanting to live in peace with other religions and there are people who want to eliminate anyone who does not agree with their religion. We don't want the US to turn into that type of country.

  • United Arab Emirates — The UAE has promoted interfaith initiatives in recent years, including the “Abrahamic Family House” in Abu Dhabi, which includes a mosque, church, and synagogue together. Large Christian expatriate communities openly worship there, and Jewish life has become more visible after the Abraham Accords.
  • Morocco — Morocco has historically had Jewish, Muslim, and Christian communities. The king publicly emphasizes protection of Jewish heritage, and old synagogues and Jewish quarters are preserved in cities like Casablanca and Marrakesh.
  • Albania — Often cited as an example of religious harmony. Muslims, Catholics, Orthodox Christians, and a tiny Jewish population coexist with relatively low sectarian conflict. Albanians frequently identify national identity above religious identity.
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina — Despite the devastating 1990s war, many areas today have mixed Muslim, Orthodox Christian, Catholic, and Jewish communities living side by side, especially in Sarajevo, sometimes called the “Jerusalem of Europe.”
  • Singapore — The government strongly promotes religious tolerance among Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, and others. Religious conflict is taken very seriously by authorities.
  • Canada and United States — Both have sizable Jewish, Christian, and Muslim populations that generally coexist peacefully under legal protections for religious freedom, although social and political tensions certainly occur.
  • Senegal — A majority-Muslim country known for relatively warm Muslim-Christian relations. Christian minorities participate openly in society, and interfaith cooperation is common.
  • Jordan — Christians are a minority but are generally integrated into public life. The country also maintains recognized Christian holy sites and interfaith dialogue initiatives.

.

We still have yet to see a report of any mosque that was made to shut down their intrusive "call to prayer" that blares over loud speakers.
