We'll see who's laughing when the gulf stream switches off.Hilarious
Now why would it switch off? We'll see who's laughing when the gulf stream switches off.
I disagree, I think their assessment is riddled with flaws and is disingenuous when it comes to how they report the warming from CO2 because they are hiding just how big the feedback component is relative to the theoretical instantaneous radiative forcing effect of CO2.Is correct in its assessment.
Can you post that.
Thermohaline circulation. When differences in salinity (i.e. density) and temperature occur, ocean currents will change in order to equilibrate water density and temperature. Nature abhors a vacuum. In nature equilibrium is the order of the day. The other factor in altering ocean currents are wind currents which are affected by the sun.Now why would it switch off?
Maybe the geological record?
Or just a coincidence?

But here's a graph showing that they attribute no warming to natural climate fluctuations that the geologic record is littered with. They totally ignore the role the ocean plays in distributing heat to the Arctic and the effect that natural deglaciation of the northern hemisphere plays.

That was from their report. They attribute no warming for natural causes. Or couldn't you understand that graphic?Dude
Post their assessment of the report
So How did Exxon Mobel NAIL the numbers 40+ Years ago using CO2 and AGW?
(see above)
`
Probably because it's widely known that a doubling of CO2 will produce 1C of theoretical warming of the surface temperature. So How did Exxon Mobel NAIL the numbers 40+ Years ago using CO2 and AGW?

There is no climate sensitivity to CO2. If there were the planet would not have ever cooled with CO2 levels of 600 ppm and greater.MIT Climate Portal
