However, without congressional action, the program's trust fund reserves are projected to run out in 2035, and retirees would only receive 83% of their full benefits.

Galveston County, Tx opted out of SS before it was made illegal. They set up a replacement system and retirees get about 3X monthly what they would under SS. Also, they have hundreds of thousands they can leave to their kids.

SS is a Ponzi scheme and is going broke.
