What about Hosea?
I know that. But Isaiah is talking about Jesus. He's not talking about Jesus.. he's talking about Israel.
Who is the child in Isaiah 9:5-6?
Isaiah 9:5-6 says: "For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us..." Who is the child the prophet speaks about?jewsforjudaism.org

Isaiah 7 is the beginning of the prophetic narrative.Nope. He's not talking about Jesus. Read the whole chapter. Isaiah is writing about Hezekiah. Why would Isaiah change the subject so suddenly? Christians made a mess. They embellish Jesus when there's no need to do so.

Isaiah 7 is the beginning of the prophetic narrative.
Verse 14.
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a (the) virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”
He's talking about the house of Israel specifically, as Paul did in Romans 9.He's not talking about Jesus.. he's talking about Israel.
Hezekiah doesn't fit the description.Yes, he's talking about Hezekiah. Don't take one verse out of context.
