Different issues. We recognize China's ultimate sovereignty over Taiwan, we don't recognize Russia's over Ukraine but our reaction would be similar. Economic and diplomatic sanctions by the West and our Asian allies. Military aid might go to Ukraine but not Taiwan.

No one knows WTF a "One China Policy" means. It means "status quo" if anything. Don't ask don't tell what the US would do if China attacked Taiwan. Military aid already goes to Taiwan.

IF businesses don't give away their intellectual property to gain access to China, that might work, but earnings would suffer. US Labor is tight and expensive, and the US is over-regulated. Even the US couldn't fund a relocation like that, moving thousands of factories from China in a "national emergency". What if China just nationalizes the factories? The US gets nothing, that's what Wall Street has sown....we as a people have no recourse.
