You’re wildly evading by bringing up the exception. By law you have to show ID. And.. age is observable after a certain time period. You probably just look so old that it’s impossible for you to pass for under 21.(Unless you identify as young?). Meanwhile, whether or not you’re a citizen or can vote is not observable, so it needs to be verified.

If the speed traps didn't exist, you'd have no evidence of speeding. That doesn't mean it's not happening nor that we shouldn't have police officers out there verifying that people aren't speeding. This really isnt that hard a concept to grasp. Requiring and ID to vote is more than a reasonable requirement. One that over 80% of Americans agree with.
