Is there a BIBLICAL argument for attending church services?

Why do you ask?
People pay tithes and church taxes, but Jesus made a whip of cords, and drove the money-changers, alms-collectors, and booksellers out of the temple of Jerusalem.

Well...I'm confused as to the point you are trying to make. So far..still confused where this is leading.

And then he rode on the back of a scorpion across the water. Alas, the scorpion bit him anyway. But he rose from the dead 3 days later, just in time to remove a thorn from a lion's foot. As a way of thanking Jesus, the lion didn't eat him when they recreated the famous scenes from the Ridley Scott epic 'Gladiator'.
If you cannot address the post or believe in church or God or gods...get out. Thats what is wrong with this forum. Too many invade it to make fun of believers.

Forsake not the assembly of yourselves together
No one is suggesting that: a peaceable assembly for worship is to be commended, but there shouldn't be such a heavyhanded leadership or patriarchal hierarchy of older men who are already more than wealthy enough passing the hat or selling religious tracts for money at a place of worship.
If there is something to give for the poor, that is one thing, but church is not a place to demand or accept offerings or money or make change.

Not only does that verse have nothing to do with attending church, it does not even have anything to do with tithing.

Let's get a King James Version. The English Standard Version is an unbeliever's book, not a faithful translation: it contains a number of hideously awful blunders and atrocious mistranslations.

You know what that flat object in front of you with the letters and numbers on it is for? It is called typing. Go ahead and try it out. You may even be able to make a salient point rather than wishing we can read the links provided and somehow read your mind as to what you think they have to say about the subject at hand. Particularly considering the selected links are very poor at participating in an actual conversation.
