On this issue you are 100% wrong. Rattler not only isn’t the best QB in his class it’s debatable he’s in the top 10 at this point.

BTW Cousins is still out there and Derek Carr is talking about coming out of retirement. Both have a better shot at starting than Rattler this year.

The Titans probably took Locklear because the defensive end (Watt's position) was a pro bowler in 2010. It wasn't exactly a position of need at the time. VY was a bust and his contract was ending, they needed a franchise QB, not another pass rusher. It's also super easy to say that now since Watt is a HOF'er and Locklear didn't do anything in the league. All of my analysis 15 years after the draft of who was right or wrong is dead on as well....

And no one has said GM's/scouts get it right 100% of the time. They are just better at their job than you are at their job. If they weren't you'd be a GM of a team making millions a year and wouldn't just be a poster making shit takes on the internet.

Clint Kubiak was the QB coach and OC of the Vikings.

And who was his QB? Kirk Cousins.

The Raiders are 100% drafting Mendoza, who better to mentor the rookie QB than Cousins? He knows the system Kubiak runs and was very successful doing it. Cousins if he's nothing else is known to be to consummate professional. He didn't win/have success because he was just wildly gifted athletically, he's known for his work ethic, study, mentality etc. Why wouldn't you want to bring that guy in to be the veteran in your QB room with a rookie? He takes a ton of things off Kubiak's plate as the HC/OC/QB coach and lets him focus on being the HC given it's his rookie season as HC. I don't know what the Raiders are paying him but it's likely a good deal for this since Atlanta still owes Cousins 70 million whether he plays or not. If the Raiders didnt sign him it would have been moronic.

He has nothing, and I believe he's intentionally acting stupid with the QB wins thing. Pointing out any statistic means youre a "stat parrot" unless of course that statistic supports his take. Same with what "experts" are saying. I dont know that anything is going to convince him. He wont even back off the "Rattler might be the best QB in his class" take. Drake Maye has already played in a SB. Daniels has been to the NFC Champ game. Nix to the AFC champ game. Williams has as many PO wins as Rattler does in the regular season, and almost made it to the NFC champ game last year. It's crazy
