The USA is not split between states, but between metropolitan and small town/rural American. California is not all blue and Texas is not all red. That is the problem. My point for bringing this up is with a division as being discussed how involved would such a division be in food distribution for example. With the majority of population in large cities under liberal/progressives would your local food stores see shortages? With the largest oil production coming from a red state and a liberal CA working to eliminate fossil fuels,
what would CA do if food, fuel, etc. be reduced?

We have two intractable problems:


1. Some sincere people believe that with enough good government policies, ethnicity X (no need to be specific) can eventually be integrated into the general society and that its reputation for violent crime can be put to rest. Others (like me) feel that society has been trying since the 1960s, but the crime problem is worse than ever.

2. Some people believe that capitalism is the best policy, while others feel that socialism will benefit ordinary people more.


So the only solution is a peaceful and harmonious divorce.

Let people live with other people who share the same values.
