Good points. Fear itself is normal but you are also correct that if we ask to be given more and more of the Holy Spirit so that we conquer our fears, then that will be great. As I know that the Bible says "do not fear," but I don't think that in itself is a sin. I think that it only becomes a sin when you let it stop you from doing what's right. The perfect example of this being not fearing death especially after what happened to Charlie Kirk of continuing to share the gospel as this is what I'm currently struggling with. I might know where I'm going after I die, but that doesn't mean that I'm not afraid of being murdered for sharing the truth (not just what I believe) with people.
Often the best public speakers, fear public speaking. Near death experiencer Kevin Zadai is an example of an exceptionally good public speaker, [in my opinion anyway], but he admits that he does not want to speak in public but instead does so out of a sense of duty and obedience to Messiah Yeshua - Jesus.
