Iran certainly hasn't been passive - their proxy strategy had Israel by their hairs.
N-Korea isn't passive - the aid they are and have been giving to Russia is immense.
Russia isn't passive - 95% of Iran's military systems are provided by Russia, incl transfer of technology. I heard they are very active in Ukraine and the Sahel-zone as well.

China - was certainly not helping or "happy" about N-Korea's nuclear program.
China - is neutral as always - they see a Geo-political infrastructure and alliance as their winning strategy - not war.

This is not a signed peace deal. This is a statement to agree to extend the terms of the ceasefire with concessions.
The US agrees to end its blockade of the Strait, and Iran agrees to table its nuclear program. Not to end it. They have agreed to discuss the possibility of ending it.
It is also rumored that the US has agreed to release Iranian frozen funds.

And Iran won't be threatening the strait and they will remove mines that they've placed.

I know what you mean - but you really believe that Iran will just accept having been hammered two times, billions of damage and thousands of lives lost? - unlike Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and even Vietnam - they retain a striking capability, and if the oil flows freely, they will certainly increase that striking capability.
