Investigation Shows 350,000 Dead On Voter Rolls

Hence they don’t remove people. And since there is very little voter fraud it isn’t a priority.
ROTFL! Somebody in the damn state government should be auditing the voter rolls and taking out dead people. Is that too complicated for you?
If it requires rubbing two brain cells together, then yes, it is too complicated for CandyPorn.
My dog makes more intelligent noises than she does.

There is no excuse for dead people remaining on voting rolls for years. Democrats fought efforts in Ohio by Republicans to purge voters who had been inactive for 6 or more years as a means to get dead people and people no longer eligible to vote in the district off the voting rolls.

Just because you don't vote in a couple elections does not mean you should be removed from the voting roles. If you want to remove people who have passed away you can cross check the stats.

Is that more work than a widespread removal of names? It is. It should not be easy to simply remove someone from the voting roles.

It is incumbent upon the voter to kept their eligibility up with voter rolls. Active participation in elections is a clear indicator.

When your patent(s) died...did you go out of your way to notify the State election officials that they had perished?

probably not.

Hence they don’t remove people. And since there is very little voter fraud it isn’t a priority.

Bigger problem is people who had moved
Even Trumps children were on voter rolls in two states.

EVIDENCE???????????????????????????

There might be. And?

Despite being asked by the courts to provide proof of any cheating Trump has come up empty.
When and where did it go to court??????

Trump campaign fails to show evidence of vote-by-mail fraud, filing reveals
ROTFL! Vote by mail fraud was alleged there. In this case, we have confirmed 350,000 dead people registered to vote. You changed the subject.

And? No proof of any wrong doing has been shown. Stories like this do a lot of damage to the country. THey are trying to put the idea that voting is not safe or fair when there has been no evidence to that fact (outside of the Republicans cheating in North Carolina).
I get it. You want to suppress the facts to make people feel better????HAHAHAHAHAHA!

From the beginning it's been asked what the point is? A state can remove dead people from their voters rolls.

EVIDENCE???????????????????????????

Tiffany Trump, who voted in New York City in November's election, is also registered in Pennsylvania where she went to college at the University of Pennsylvania, as HeatStreet reported and other outlets confirmed.

Also outed as two-state registrants Wednesday: White House senior advisor Steve Bannon and Trump cabinet nominee Steve Mnuchin.

Trump's voter fraud investigation may want to start with his own daughter

That doesn't prove "children" but it does go to show that people end up on two roles with absolutely no intention to cheat.

Care to pay more in taxes to scour the voting rolls and death certificates to audit every death of someone 18 y/o or older?

Didn’t think so.

Be interesting to see if Trump is listed in NY and Florida.
True. But the thread is about the dead.

You’ll note the OP didn’t notify the State of deceased parents or grandparents (if she/he had some).

The OP knows that the dead on voter rolls is harmless.

But he is right...someone at the state should be looking into this and we should pay for it.

The difference is that they want more government than they are willing to pay for and won’t personally take actions to prevent it...you’ll note not one of them said they notified the State when their parents died. They would also be the first to complain that the state is being too intrusive when they start demanding proof of death.

It would be incredibly easy for someone to create software that cross referenced different roles. If that was done though that would end a way for politicians to divide the people.

That is the case now and given the vulnerabilities of dead people remaining on the polls, the Republicans proposed the 6 year inactivity purge; not a permanent purge, but a catalyst to make sure these inactives were still legitimate and eligible.

Only people with intent on exploiting that vulnerability or supporting the exploitation of the vulnerability could have a problem with the Republicans’ proposal.

Right, they wanted a wide spread removal of voters as opposed to actually addressing the issue. If they had simply removed those who had died there wouldn't have been any controversy.

No, you do not remove someone simply because they haven't voted in a couple elections.

Yes but confirming the information is going to have to take place; how many John Smiths or Juan Garzas live in Texas? Hell, how many live in Houston? How many vote in Texas but work and live out of State? You keel over in Florida...does the Florida SoS office notify Texas? What about those with no family who can vouch for the decedent?

It’s not that cut and dried.

Also it’s serious business if you remove the wrong Sharon Jones from the voter rolls. The next stop for the living breathing Sharon Jones is Federal Court if some clerk in the Election office gets it wrong. From a risk standpoint it’s perilous.

Feel free to elaborate

you can’t.
