The Republican Party of Texas suggested election officials may have purged too many of their voters from the voting rolls.

This would be quite funny if it wasn’t so sad. Well what do you expect? You take a lie of wide spread voter fraud, turn that lie into policy, you will disenfranchise voters. But hey in a party that has nothing but disdain for the vote, it is surprising that Texas Republicans care at all about the disenfranchisement of their own voters, much less anyone else.

it's called removing ineligible voters, and done now gives anyone incorrectly removed plenty of time to rectify the situation.

Dead people and people who have not voted for several elections need periodic purging. No one is purged without being notified first, which gives them the ability to make sure they are not purged if they do not want to be.
