"It?" Apostacy caused Christ's church to no longer exist on earth. All churches from the start of the great apostacy were not part of Christ's church and still aren't. We found this out when Joseph Smith saw the Father and Son where Christ told Joseph to join none of the existing churches because they are all wrong. They came close with their lips but far away with their hearts. They deny the real power (priesthood) of God and created their own phony priesthoods and authority.

Interesting stat I heard on the TV or somewhere; Priests are 1% as likely as educators to be kiddy fiddlers as teachers. ZERO% would be better of course. So what is it?

Speaking of reliability of convictions: Cardinal Pell was indeed convicted of kiddy fiddling and his appeal thrown out by a political showtrial in Victoria, Australia. He spent a year in Jail. The high Court of Australia showed that the conviction was in fact based on a lie (no consequences for the liar) where the vast majority of evidence supported Pell's innocence. Even the "evidence" accepted by a Court can indeed be tainted.
