I'm saving my money and leaving the U.S.A.

Poland is a tremendous place to more in Europe. Seems to be pretty reasonably priced. If you don't like Polish people, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary are doing their best to have civilized societies.

The Polish language is very nuanced and difficult for someone my age to begin learning.

Polish president Andrzej Duda is Trump on steroids. If you don't want to live in an authoritarian plutocracy, just say no to both Poland and Hungary. My cousin lives in France outside of Paris and loves it there. Like me, she grew up in SoCal but has been there for 40 years now and would never consider returning.

I considered Poland a lot because on a personal level I can relate in many ways with the Polish mindset and attitude. One of my uncles is Polish descent and we always get along well. France though, maybe these problems there are exclusive to Paris, but my personal experience with France elitists in America and those problems I already mentioned makes me uncomfortable about going there at all. The French are huge, many in power around the world, many of them with a power hand in US politics and business. My personal intuition says no, not a good idea.

Well then move to the happiest country on Earth - Finland! ;)

Finnish girls are so attractive, no wonder the Fins are happiest.

Oh man, I am on the way to Finland maybe , 50/50 . i was there 1000 times as a guest , I am not sure if I have a choice , it´d be London or USA

There are other cities in the UK to choose from.
I am a big city boy, so for me only capitals , except USA . unfortunately for me i can not buy a flat in London today even if i sell 2 my flats here

The London landowners are making a fortune, and nobody owns more land in the UK than the royal family.

Life has been harsh and cruel and I am not willing to raise a family in such conditions. Europe is my destination and my goal is Summer 2022. This move won't be easy but I can make it happen.

Advice for ex-pats in Europe? What are the best places for Americans to move to in Europe?

If you are insane, than move to EU.
Nowhere you can be save.
Europa is run by communist lunatics and will exist not longer as 10 - 15 years.( in the case of no forced vaccination )
I advise you to move to Dakotas, Wyoming or Texas, where you can still survive the red idiocy

I am very sane and am not afraid of the soon to be dissolved EU. There is always a solution to your problem if you are willing to invest the time and brainpower to find the answer.

I will pay my own fare thank you very much. Truly I will willingly denounce my US citizenship and fortfeit my rights the same day I have become a citizen of my new country.

Please do so. I will warn you thst it’s NOT an easy thing to do. There are limited places you can do it. It requires multiple interviews, a mental health exam, paperwork, etc... good luck with that

Go to UK if you don´t like language barriers. Americans like Germany, too. My advice though: Get a decent job. That is way more easy in the US.

Not easy since COVID-19, in fact I read a blurb from an article yesterday that mentioned many immigrants depending on service work such as restaurant and small shop industry has returned to their country because small business and strip malls were decimated across America. Immigrants, many illegal, will grab these jobs off the market in large numbers and split rent in overpopulated homes, overpopulated because the illegals cannot get their own leases. This is especially true on the west coast. With the majority small service shut down their wealth source dried up. I saw several times on TV news the reporters mentioned the difficulty of Americans finding work since COVID started.
The gastronomy in Europe is sharing a similar fate. Even in Sweden that did not have a lock down.

Sweden made the right economical decision and were I in power I would have done the same thing. Sweden wont experience a loss of business as sharp as other nations.

When you leave let me know. I’ll pay your one-way airfare on one condition... you must give up your US Citizenship as soon as you get to Europe.

Europa as we know it was gone.
You are pretty naive.
You will deprived of all your rights including economical ones.
It is very difficult to run own business, to be safe of crime, to earn money.

Maybe not, but that was nothing they knew in the forefield.

America is not a prison. You may continue to file U.S. income taxes without "renouncing" your citizenship — and I do not believe it's a double burden, because there is a direct credit on U.S. income tax returns for foreign taxes paid, which will generally, anywhere in Europe, greatly exceed any U.S. tax burden anyways.

The only European languages I am familiar with are Finnish, Swedish, and French.

If I had to speak French, I would rather be somewhere like Africa, because I just can't stand modern French and Swiss politics with the Interpol, Foreign Legion, Swiss Guard, and a number of other archaic French-speaking institutions that have become unbelievably corrupt over the years.

There are remote areas in far north Scandinavia, where I would go if I had to live in Europe I would go since I have some heritage as well as familiarity with the language(s).

I don't own a business, I'm working class.

Everyone will have their own reasons to prefer one place over another, heritage you should think would top most peoples motivations.

… heritage you should think would top most peoples motivations …
When I was a young child, I recall, I overheard some very old men who were having a deep discussion in the Finnish language. They spoke in deep tones of a «valkea rodu» ("white race") that included Swedes and Norwegians, but not the Finns whom they considered second-class citizens, or the Sami whom they considered third-class. The causes of my ancestors who departed Europe for America have not yet been redressed in Europe. Without the preparations in place to right 160-year wrongs, I would not visit or emigrate to Europe from the United States. Various revolutions with much bloodshed were taking place in Europe at the time of the Civil War in the U.S. for many of the same reasons.

World population has increased a lot since colonial times, a lot has changed, people have more to keep themselves occupied rather than sitting on a throne and staring at the same people your whole life. In a scenario like that people tend to get a lot more particular and annoyed.

The European economy is due to COVID Scamdemic completely destroyed, lockdowns 2.0 are coming to.
More and more companies are going bankrupcy, it's difficlult to believe you can find a good paid blue color job.

" The London landowners are making a fortune " its wrong, London must introduce Swedish property laws
