When this topic came up a year or so ago, I looked at my family and realized that I am one of the few people in my family's generation, on both sides that has enough kids to replace us. I have three kids. My cousin Sharon had two, and she passed away last year. No other cousin has more than one kid and many had none. I had about 50 cousins on both sides of the family. The parents never replaced themselves.

You even have admitted to having only one grandchild.

Yep. Nothing wrong with one. It's my kids choice. As a father I have no place to tell them they have some kind of duty to procreate for the country.
