I am not.,..there was clearly a revolution going on. Folks wanted that President out, they wanted a closer relationship with the west, and not Russia.

Yes. But the level of support would be suspect. Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania would be crushed. Poles would gladly kill Russian troops and Czech Republic soldiers would kill Russian troops with same enthusiasm. Australia, Vietnam, and Japan would be primary allies against Chicom's.
