If the United States ends up in a two-front world war in Ukraine and Taiwan will our "allies" help us?

We will not do a thing. Taiwan will fall to China and Ukraine will follow Crimea to Russia. A complaint will be registered with the UN. The United States won't miss an opportunity to allow black americans to raise a fist in protest at the Olympics. Protest against America that is. China is okay.

You must be getting a hardon by this boat. You're positively frothing at the mouth in anticipation. Only idiots are pushing the idea of war, so of course you want it.

The Ukraine is a part of NATO, and the USA and ALL of the NATO countries are sworn to protect it. The Russian army couldn't even capture the Ukraine from the Ukrainian army, and the first time Putin attacked. The Russian army is under manned, and under equipped. If Putin risks this and loses, he' be finished, if not dead.

Putin may be sabre rattling at home to wag the dog and distract from Novalny's hunger strike, Russia's economic woes. Putin can't access his stolen billions because of sanctions, and the Russian people are losing patience. This isn't the mighty Soviet Empire with the wealth of the entire nation behind it. The Communist treasury is long gone. Putin and his buddies have stolen the wealth of the nation. This is Putin's last gasp at power.

Xi wants wealth and power for China. You all you get with war is death, destruction and poverty, so of course Republicans are all for it.
Ukraine is not a member of NATO.
The globalists want NATO to expand into Ukraine, but Ukraine is split 50/50 on joining.
All this conflict can be traced back to NATO and EU expansionism.

There are two legal questions here.

On the Ukraine. Ukraine is not a part of NATO. It's unlikely the Russians will escalate beyond their aid to Russians in the Ukraine trying to set up autonomy in their provinces, but if they do, we really don't have a legal basis to step in beyond UN action, which the Russians will probably veto.

Kind of the same deal with Taiwan. Taiwan isn't even recognized as a valid country, it's recognized as a province of China. Therefore, the Chinese are probalby within their legal rights to invade it.

Of course, they won't, because China relies on Taiwanese investment. They'd lose more than they'd gain by invading it. The only thing that might provoke an invasion is if Taiwan tried to declare itself independent, because China is kind of touchy on the whole issue of national sovereignty. Saying you are your own country is actually a lot worse than being your own country in all but name.

The real question is, why is any of this OUR problem?

There is no law when it comes to war.

And, no. It's not our problem.

It's our own doing. We should have taken the boot off Japan's throat decades ago.

Will Germany, Japan, FRANCE, etc. help us defend Ukraine and Taiwan or will the United States fight this two-front world war alone?

No, our "friends" will not dare anger China.

And, I doubt that the American people truly want to see American boys (and girls) die in order to defend Ukraine and Taiwan.

In fact, the United States, I believe, has shown no interest in even boycotting the China Olympics, let alone fighting to protect Taiwan.

The Allies have already accepted China's crushing of Hong Kong as an accomplished fact. China knew that the Allies are all talk, no action.

I bet that the Europeans are even too chicken to sell weapons to Ukraine.

Hopefully, our nominal President will at least sell such weapons to Taiwan. Even if China does take over Taiwan, maybe it may come at a cost that is so high that the Communists are eventually overthrown.

China may just give them a bit of autonomy until they are absorbed into the national government.

That didn’t stop them in Hong Kong. China likes total control.

Russia doesn't want Ukraine, they don't really want Donbas. They just want the Nazis to stop screwing with the locals. The Donbas has an aging population of pensioners and crumbling infrastructure. They could have had the region when Crimea voted to separate and move to Russia and chose not to. Though they might be inclined to wipe Kiev clean before leaving.
Russians are positioning tanks at the Ukrainian border for a reason.
So, Russians are moving equipment and troops along their own border, within their own territory.

Better to do what the Chinx do.
Sit it out, but arm Taiwan, the Japs and the South Koreans etc.
Maybe drop a MOAB on the Three Gorges Dam, and ruin their economy.

How are you going to get that MOAB to the dam? You are talking out of your ass again.
If you can't even drop a bomb on a specific target with trillions of dollars of investment, I suggest not entering any conflict.

Like others have already noted, Ukraine not a NATO member. You should not even be discussing geopolitics.

I have no interest in fighting a war over Ukraine or Taiwan.

but you'll have to.

watch Biden today de facto declaring war on Russia. Addidionally to another set of sanctions.

the war in Ukraine is inevitable, the US wants to undermine Russia's ability to support China in coming US-China war.

Trump wanted to turn Russia into an ally, Biden wants to make Russia busy with a mess in Ukraine, therefore Ukraine is going to start mass genocide against Russian population in Eastern Ukraine with inevitable involvement of Russia.

But due to alzheimer Biden doesn't understand that Russia may not limit itself with Eastern Ukraine only and it will lead to involvement of NATO and possible nuclear exchange between USA and Russia if NATO dares to hit Russian territory.

ha...this isn't going to happen under Xiden's watch....he isn't going to war with his Chinese Communist Party masters....and he certainly isn't going to go to war with Putin over Ukraine....he's literally turning back our military currently there. He's got no more money to make in Ukraine.

The Ukraine crisis is caused by the EU and NATO trying to expand their territory.
Another "Brother War" caused by globalists.
To be fair, Ukraine asked to be a part of NATO...that's what started it off. It certianly only got worse because Obama bowed down to Putin

um Ukraine is not part of NATO...geez....such idiotic and uninformed comments...typical of a Dem voter.

Just North Korea alone has more soldiers than all of the South American militaries combined.
God knows how many Chinx are battle ready.
They could bring in conscription within 24 hours.

After the first wave of nukes they will have no army.

lol, Putin said that counterstrike will be administered not only against advancing NATO (or any) troops, but alco against centers kf decision making.
i. e. in Ukraine-Russia war Washington has much bigger chance to get nuked than Berlin, though Berlin is also inevitably in the list as a NATO capital, but any nuckear strike against Russian troops means immediate death of most population of the US.
