Jews wrote also the textes of the New Testament. Published had been this textes in Greek. Example: Many Germans write for example scientific textes directly in English because this is currently the lingua franka of the western world - and also of other parts of the world like India for example. Paulus was born in Tarsus - this was the Roman province "Asia minor" and the population at this time of history had been Greeks there, wasn't it? But he was a Jew and no Greek. And he was a Roman.
