The silence on the other end of the call was so deafening, Trump thought the call disconnected

Normal people are looking at Israeli behavior in Gaza, the West Bank, Iran, Lebanon and the despicable treatment of International coalition of aid workers looking to bring food and medicine to Gaza and wondering if Trump is serious about asking ME nations to normalize relations with Israel or if there's something seriously wrong with him

The M.E should have done this long ago.

Alas, anything written on paper is meaningless in 95% of that region unless it was written in a book over 1400 years ago.

Give Trump credit, but like the actions in Greenland which did not result in anything this is just him throwing long bombs. It may occur one day but not under his presidency. Not with all of the war going on in the M.E.

In his first term he was able to negotiate as there wasn't any active wars. Following Oct 7th, the response and the extremists in too many corner of the M.E, this is almost certainly a waste of time.

What he does not appreciate is the M.E is not like the U.S. They are authoritarian governments who do not need America for their wealth, they stole it from their citizens long ago just as they took their civil liberties and human rights. They are also now bending to China since no one kicked them out of the WTO or bans their companies on U.S stock indexes. You are gifting them trillions of free money.

Unless you have the right leader at the top of government in these M.E countries, this is all just wishful thinking. Worse, as he had been fairly active in dealing with the M.E and it has often hurt America since Europe has their demographics shifted away from Judeo-Christian values.

We are our worst enemies because we keep capitulating to China which is the absolute worst approach. Trump should have doubled down on his 1st term, just as he acted in the start of his second term with the 150% tariffs on China. If he bankrupted China he would have placed America in the pole position without challengers.

As it were I still maintain that barring wise leadership and less greed of the powerful in the West, China is going to win. Their tentacles run far in many pies we do not understand.

But, it sure doesn’t seem likely any time soon.
