You understand that not all people drive long distances on a regular basis, don't you? Before retirement, 200 to 250 miles per day wasn't unusual. Now I doubt I average 35 to 50 miles a day.
thats why EVs for some people is perfect, but the idea the government got into its head that it was going to try and shape the automobile industry , so that more people will drive EV's was one of the biggest problems.
Let people who drive ev's because its perfect for them drive evs.... let people who drive Gasoline vehicles because its perfect for them do likewise. and then let the free market, supply and DEMAND sort everything out.
